Prince Eric from an au of The Little Mermaid which takes place in and around a fictionalized Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. Ariel has gone back to the sea and Eric sails with the Mexican navy more often than thinking or caring about princely duties. The events of the film may be well in the past, but Eric is still a sucker for a good fish-out-of-water story.
He still has the dog. Dogs are awesome.
